juliangrimheart This record is simply a masterpiece. Everything is right over the edge, drowned in chaos, reverb and distortion. And hidden in there are these powerful melodies. From beneath all this noisy mess are coming the most intense vocals. What a gem. Favorite track: Aren't You Happy?.

chrisg.ll.gher This band forever shapes and moulds themselves into a brutally gorgeous wall of noise, and this EP is no exception. With such a wide array of influences, styles, and genres all blended into one cohesive and ferociously "Lure In" feeling package, this release is arguably some of the their best music to date.

Lure In continue to cement themselves as one of the most unique and underrated groups of artists in the UK right now.

about

The EP was inspired by the band wanting to pursue a new style that involves heavy metalcore & the noisy alternative sound they've been playing since their inception, but now incorporating synthetic & modern autotune pop elements that you'd expect from a Charli XCX, Sophie & AG Cook record as well as some indie rock influences in regards to songwriting with bands & artists such as Pale Waves, BeaBaDooBee & Metric in mind whilst creating the record.

The EP is about how the years of social politics & the social media age have left many people who don't fit the mold of a normal person completely lost in identity issues & feeling like they are a million steps away from who they should be.

What this record is trying to put out into the world is that it is okay to be unapologetically yourself & that your own happiness & identity can not be compromised by ignorant & uneducated standards of how everyone should act & be.
